Meeting Opened:       7:05pm

 

Present:                       Glenda Hutchinson, Jenny Walters, Kath Carter, Jeff Carter, Jacqui Zettl, Rosie Stevens, Kath Byrne, Pam Iafrati, Wendy Garraway, Trish Weir, Jane Walsh, Wendy Taylor, Heidi James Landry, Natalie Mueller, Deborah Mason, Helen Dean, Mary Schick , Briona McKone,             Bret Heath.

 

Apologies:       Toni Cullen, Marion Price, Helen Oberg.

 

Prayer:                        Opening Prayer.

 

The Meeting opened with a welcoming from members.

 

Trish Weir informed the Meeting that she would be resigning from the Treasurer’s position after 10 years.

 

The AGM minutes were then presented by the Secretary.

Business Arising from the Minutes:

Glenda Hutchinson moved a motion to buy Trish Weir a thankyou gift.  The Executive to decide on the gift.

Briona McKone moved a motion to pay the amount as per the Guidelines to the members of the CQ Swimming Team – Madison Wilson, Maddi Bygrave, Gabrielle Wilson, Rebecca Bimrose and Liam Rayfield.  To Charlotte Boyd for singing.

Treasurers Report:    Tabled

As at 28 February 2006           Working Account  $7537.64   

                                    Investment Account  $44.51

General Business:

 

Nut Free Policy:           School Board is writing a Policy.  The teachers made the decision.  Where does the school draw the line about children’s health issues?

 

P&F Directions and Projects:  Held over till next meeting.

 

Healthy Kids Survey:  Should we take part?  A motion was put forward by Bret Heath to write back and gather the next stage of information.

Diocesan P&F Cluster Meeting:  To be held at Yeppoon on 28th March.  Executive to decide on catering.
