Email: rockhamptonasg@yahoo.com.au The group meets monthly on the 4th Friday of each month at the local Community Health Centre in Bolsover St, Rockhampton from 10:00-12:00 (except during school holidays when the meeting is usually held the week prior to holidays). Come along for a chat, information and support. Books on Autism are available for borrowing. Autism Spectrum Disorder Web Sites Inspired by Deaf Pride, this site has been developed as an interactive community resource for adults with invisible disabilities (ID) such as learning disabilities (LD), mental illness, Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder and other neurological disorders.

A Victorian
based site developed to support parents of children with ADD/ADHD. This
site contains talks by Dr Christopher Green on topics such as, behaviours,
typical presentation, treatment and diagnosis.

This Australian/New Zealand site provides a wealth of information on Dyslexia. A free online magazine with a wide range of easy to access articles on areas such as hearing your child’s reading, latest research on what causes dyslexia and stories from those with dyslexia. The Active Australia site is aimed at providing information and encouragement to increase the participation of people in sport. Go to Programs on the home page then Disability Education link to explore the disability and sport section of this website. “Willing and Able" is a project of the Disability Education Program which provides a major focus for Active Australia’s approach to increasing the activity levels of Australians with a disability.” (site provided description)
